Exact testing is the basis of our quality

Materials testing

For us, quality is only comprehensive if we test and confirm it ourselves. This is done in our own testing laboratory and in ongoing operation with hardness testing machines. In addition to normal hardness testing, we offer a wide range of supplementary testing options for materials testing.

Hardness measurement

  • Hardness tests according to Brinell
  • Hardness tests according to Rockwell
  • DIN EN ISO 6506 / 6508, ASTM E10

Various hardness testers are available. The most common hardness measurements are carried out according to Brinell HB 10/3000. Approximate values for tensile strength can also be converted via the hardness impression using the DIN EN ISO 18265 standard. However, hardness testing does not replace destructive testing.

Tensile testing machine

  • Tensile tests up to 200 kN
  • at room temperature
  • DIN EN ISO 6892-1 or ASTM A 370

For destructive material testing, we perform our own tensile tests (up to 200 kN). The standardized procedure determines the yield strength, tensile strength, elongation and necking. This material testing is carried out according to DIN EN ISO 6892-1 or according to the American standard ASTM A 370.

Impact tester

  • Notched bar impact tests up to 300 J
  • room temperature to -50°C
  • DIN EN ISO 148-1 or ASTM E 23-07A

In notched bar impact tests (up to 300 J) we test the notched bar impact strength of the materials after heat treatment. Depending on customer requirements, we shatter the specimens at temperatures down to -50°C. Testing is carried out according to DIN EN ISO 148-1 or according to the American standard ASTM E 23-07A.

Spectral analysis

  • Identification testing /
    Material analysis

The transportable spectral analyzer takes over the material analysis of the material to be tested within the scope of a mix-up test.
